Our
focus in the part 1 of this unit (Transporting your miracles from the spiritual
to the physical realm) was on the need for a “Corresponding Actions to the Word of God we receive at any time.” Behind
the CORRESPONDING ACTION to the word of God we receive, however is this great
virtue called Faith. A man cannot take a required action to what he hears if he
does not believe in what he hears. It was the faith Elijah had in the word of
God that came to him (as was seen in the previous message) that empowered him
to take all the actions that ‘the word’ he received required of him, and to
receive the miracles it promised.
By
“absolute faith” we mean faith that is total, complete; free from any form of
doubt, restriction or imperfection. This
is what was expressed by Mary to the message of the Angel according to our
text: “And Mary said, Behold the handmaid
of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word. And the angel departed from
her”. (Luke 1:38). Consequent upon this expression of absolute faith by
Mary, she was able to receive the miraculous conception as prophesied.
Absolute
faith in the word of God is inspired through Rhema (our specific, definite
message from the word we receive). To receive rhema from the word of God at any
time, we must form the habit of: Listening with admiration, Keen attention,
note-taking, high level of sensitivity, deep meditation, memorization and repetition
of what we hear. Further to this, we must also learn to express our inspired faith
through: A Faith-filled confession, Faith-filled association, Faith-filled
confirmation, Faith-filled motivation, and Faith-filled Praise (Praising God as
if we already have it). With attitudes of this kind, the promises we receive
from God’s word or prophetic declaration could easily be transported into our
realm of reality.
